The Italian Association of International Accountants (IAIA) was originally founded in 1980 as the Italian Association of Accountants to represent the interests of British and Irish accountants in Italy. In 1998 it was decided to add the word “International” to the name of the organisation to highlight the international nature of our membership. This change coincided with a decision to open up membership to accountants from outside of the British Isles.
The IAIA is principally funded by the six CCAB bodies
The principle goals of the IAIA are:
- Networking between like minded professionals based in Italy
- Educational and technical matters – including continuing professional education
- Development of relations with local professional bodies.
