The CCAB in Luxembourg is an active group for accountancy professionals. It was established as a separate entity in Luxembourg in 1980 having previously been affiliated to the Belgian branch.

Events range from the purely social networking opportunities after work through to half day Practice Updates aimed at all accountants whether in practice, industry, commerce, general management or the public sector. Most events are lunches at which a guest speaker will address a specific topic. Recent speakers include Sir David Tweedie, Chairman of the IASB, Isobel Sharp, President of ICAS, and Jacques Santer, former Prime Minister of Luxembourg and former President of the EU-Commission.
